Window Replacement in Duck, NC

September 24, 2024

The manufacturer sent the wrong size window, after waiting 6 weeks. We then had to reschedule and block our RENTAL for two days to put the last window in! We should have been compensated for this loss of income! The installers were very good.

Although there was an issue with the measurements back in May 2023 that caused a remeasure and delayed installation. I was impressed with the installer and work performed. I would like to use him again for another window project.

There was a misunderstanding about several things. I thought I was getting all window wrapping done but the salesman forgot to change the contract. Still have one unwrapped with metal. The workers seemed rushed to get done and did a good job, but not perfect. So I think if they made it a 2 day job, like I was told it would be, things would have been better. Also, I was told on the phone that I did not have to remove the upper brackets for the shades I took down and so the worker had to remove them for me which I appreciate very much.

James was excellent! He did a great job with our windows installation. He was super professional, took his time, and cleaned up very well. We are thrilled with the installation by James from Eastgate and would recommend him to anyone. Ashely on the HD side was also great with communication. All around super happy with the experience.

Great job done by James Bennett the Subcontractor. If I have another job with The Home Depot I will only want James to be the Subcontractor.
