We needed binds for our entire home and the bling and installation price was pretty reasonable, this is why we chose Home Depot. Our windows were measured by a guy who was either third party or worked for Home depot. After measurment, the guy said he would drop off the measurments the same day to Home depot and they will give us a call in 1-2 days....well they never called and I ended up calling and scheduled our "picking out the blinds" at the store meeting..Once I got to the store, the guy who assisted me could not find the measurements, after he messed around with the computer and made a few phone calls and 30 minutes later, we got the measurements. Okay, so I picked out the blinds and the guy took his time cutting the blinds to the exact size measured.....So after all that, the HD guy said that someone would call to set up a appointment to come over our house to install the blinds in the next 1-2 days....waited, waited..on the 3rd day my husband called HD and gave us the would be installer's number. The installer said they never were notified by HD that the blinds were cut and ready for installment! If we did not follow up, we wouldve never heard from them. I would also like to add, day of blind installation, half of the blinds (maybe 6-7 of the ) had to be taken back to the store to have them recut. They were all too wide for the window. The installer was nuce enough to go to the store for us and come back to the house to install them. I am basing my experience at the Buda Tx Home Depot....we got our blinds up and happy with them now.

The young man who installed the windows was great and I am very pleased with the result. At one time I inspected construction for a living and this man passed with flying colors. On Saturday evening he still lacked a little finish up and ask if it would be alright if he came back Sunday. You usually don't see that type of professionalism these days. A job well done. We will be buying more windows and I hope he will being doing the install again. Why is just Ray to short foe a nickname?
