I found this vintage ibex, ram head dining table 1 year ago and I have been dreaming of a Beetlejuice style Halloween dinner ever since!

When I found out that The Home Depot has a whole slew of home décor and kitchenware, online, I knew we could make even better than I imagined. The variety ofplates, goblets, flatware, and candle holders
blew me away! The bonus is that they look great for Halloween but can be used all year round.
First, I wanted the centerpiece to be something that really screamed Beetlejuice, so it definitely needed black and white stripes. I love buying indoor plants at The Home Depot and a planter felt like a fitting solution. I grabbed these supplies to make a pedestal planter. One largeandone small white planter, E6000 glue, Glossy Black spray paint, and 1-inch painter's tape.

I started by measuring out the pot and marking every inch to keep the stripes the same distance.
Then, I took my laser level and marked the bottom directly below to keep those stripes even. Since the pot is tapered, I know the stripes will taper as well. The laser level really helped keep it straight.
Next, I added the painter’s tape between every other line. When spray painting, I did 3 light coats to make sure it would cover, but not bleed through the tape. I also have a whole step-by-step story set saved to my Instagram Highlights if you want more details.

After painting, I peeled back the tape and those lines looked so good! I used the E6000 glue to attach the small pot to the bigger pot. Gluing them upside down helped me to make sure the small pot stayed centered. I gave it 24 hours to cure. Voila! Now, it’s giving those Beetlejuice vibes.

The rest of the tablescape I ordered online. It was so easy to find exactly what I needed. The black stainless flatwarepopped up at the very top of the search and is absolutely perfect for a Halloween dinner. Theseblack and gold stoneware plates are so high-end feeling. They are thick and the finish is so pretty with that touch of gold on the rim.

I struggled to pick out a goblet because there are so many great shapes, but the coupes I knew would be perfect to double as a shrimp cocktail bowl like in the movie. These are a great size, lightweight, but not too delicate.
These candle holders have a very Beetlejuice feel and are so modern. They come in sets of 3 so I ordered two sets, and the candles came in a box of 6. They really bring in that spooky candlelight feel.

I got this 2-ghost set to represent the ghosts in Beetlejuice when they put their sheets on to scare the family. These are meant to be outdoor ghosts with stakes in the bottom, but it was a simple fix to get a large pedestal planter, fill it with dirt, and stick them in. Now, I can use them anywhere inside for Halloween!

I loved how beautiful everything looked in the daylight….
I got some dry ice and shrimp cocktail to really top off that spooky vibe and give a true Beetlejuice dinner feel. Lighting the candles set the mood. I also got this smoke machine that has an amber glow to it.

As much as I loved all this, I knew we could level it up just a tad more….
I grabbed a lamp and added this blue light bulb. In the movie, there is a blue glow in the background. This gave that perfect finishing touch! It has a spooky glow and now we can really scare the mortals away.

I hope this gave you the inspiration to create a Halloween tablescape for your next fall gathering!
