Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is patio furniture on sale for Memorial Day?

Prepare to save when you shop The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale. We've got the major items you've been waiting to save on: appliances, outdoor power equipment, grills, patio furniture, and more. Some categories have select items up to 40%, while others offer up to 20% off. It's easy to snag unbelievable deals that run from May 14 to 27 with our mobile app or in person at your local store.

What do I do to prepare my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Be confident your home is set for springtime weather changes by repairing or replacing faulty components of your hardscaping. If moisture gets in the cracks, you could be dealing with mold. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On your home's exterior, inspect roof shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that may let water leak in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent excess water from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

Do you carry wardrobe moving boxes?

Make your move easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Restore power in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

What will the next free Kids Workshop be?

Stop by our Kids Workshop to encourage future builders and craftspeople! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this goalie game. Constructing a small soccer game is a great way to exercise creativity, listening abilities, and fine motor skills. This cute kids' project is happening on 6/6/2026, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
