Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What Father's Day Deals does The Home Depot have in 2026?

Let your dad know you care by finding him Father's Day gifts that fit his interests. Check out the savings at The Home Depot Father's Day Sale, and get great deals on everything from smart home gifts and ladders to garage storage and appliances. You can even save up to $100 on select grills. These bargains run in-store and online from June 4–24 only, so don't miss them.

What home repairs should I make before summer storms hit?

Be confident your home is ready for summer temperatures by replacing or repairing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. If moisture gets in the cracks, you might be in for a headache. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On your home's exterior, inspect metal roofing or roof shingles for damage that may let water leak in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

What's your selection of moving boxes like?

Make your move easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, remember that inverter generators are more expensive than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window or peephole when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop in July?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop to encourage future builders and craftspeople! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this toy go-kart. Constructing a small wooden toy with wheels is a great way to sharpen creativity, fine motor skills, and listening abilities. This fun kids' project is happening on the 4th of July, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
