What should I bring to personalize my dorm?
Come see us for your dorm essentials. Use storage containers or moving boxes to transport your belongings, and be ready with disinfecting wipes and cleaning supplies. Bring a tub of spackling to fill old nail holes and Command adhesive hooks to hang string lights. Make the room your own with wall decals and area rugs. Extension cords and power strips let you place lamps, mini fridges, and countertop microwaves where you need them. If you didn't get a new bookbag yet, we've got those, too. Be prepared to head back to college with helpful products from your local Home Depot.
What do I do to prepare my home for scorching summer temps?
Be confident your home is equipped for summertime temps by replacing or repairing faulty components of your home. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that could let water in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.
Do you carry wardrobe moving boxes?
Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Do I need a generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, blizzards, severe thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
What benefits do doorbell cameras have?
Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
