How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?
Make certain your home is ready for spring temperature changes by repairing faulty components of your hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for damage that may let water seep in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered.
Do you have specialty moving boxes?
Make storage or moving easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Restore power in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.
Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
When is the next Home Depot Kids Workshop?
Stop by our Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople and builders! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this goalie game. Constructing a kid-sized tabletop soccer game is a great way to exercise fine motor skills, listening abilities, and creativity. This cute kids' project is happening on 6/6/2026, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
