Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's part of The Home Depot Spring Deals event?

Enjoy some of the best savings of the season with our Spring Deals. New tools help take care of that DIY list as the weather brings sunny cheer. It's also a great time for lawn and garden work outdoors, organizing your home with the perfect storage, and setting up new appliances indoors. Don't forget to upgrade your outdoor power equipment and patio furniture as well. Get everything done when you save during our Spring Deals sale that runs only from 4/23 through 5/10. Shop fast to catch these bargains.

What home repairs should I make before spring storms hit?

Be certain your home is ready for springtime temperature changes by replacing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If water gets inside the crevices, you might be dealing with mold. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. On the outside of your home, examine metal roofing or shingles for damage that can let water leak in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent excess water from backing up into your home. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

Do you have specialty moving boxes?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Restore power in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.

Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

What will the next free Kids Workshop be?

Stop by our Kids Workshop to encourage future builders and craftspeople! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this keepsake box. Constructing a box with a lid that slides on is a great way to hone creativity, fine motor skills, and listening abilities. This fun kids' project is happening on May 2nd, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
