Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there a sale on storage bins and shelves?

Get organized and enjoy more productivity. Projects go more smoothly when you can find what you have on hand. The Home Depot Storage Sale runs June 22nd to August 18th in-store and online, and you can save on cabinets, storage bins, garage shelving, and storage systems by your favorite brands. We've got garage storage deals on all the items you'll need for an organized garage.

How can I prepare my home for summer?

Be confident your home is ready for summertime temperatures by replacing or repairing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On your home's exterior, inspect roof shingles or metal roofs for damage that might let water seep in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

Do you have specialty moving boxes?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through an adjacent window when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

Which project is featured at the free Kids Workshop?

Stop by our Kids Workshop to encourage future builders and craftspeople! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this rocket game. Constructing a wooden spaceship toy is a great way to hone listening abilities, fine motor skills, and creativity. This cute kids' project is happening on August 1st, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
