What home repairs should I make before summer storms hit?
Make certain your home is set for summer temperatures by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. If moisture gets in the crevices, you could be dealing with damage. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On the outside of your house, examine shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that may let water leak in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.
What's your selection of moving boxes like?
Make storage or moving easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.
Why should I get a generator?
Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.
