Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When is the Spring Black Friday Sale in 2026?

The Home Depot Spring Black Friday Sale is back and better than ever. Save big on lawn and garden as well as outdoor power equipment, then update your patio furniture and grill so you're ready to enjoy the season. You can also get a jump on spring cleaning and DIY projects by taking advantage of low prices on tools. Don't forget to embrace energy-efficient living with new appliances, too. This spring sale runs from April 9th through 22nd, so remember to shop before it ends.

What home repairs should I make before spring storms hit?

Make certain your home is set for spring temperature changes by repairing or replacing faulty components of your hardscaping. On the outside of your home, examine shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that might let water leak inside. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to ice storms and snow. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If moisture freezes inside the cracks, you could be looking at a problem.

What's your selection of moving boxes like?

Make your move easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.
