Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have any Spring Deals?

Find some of the best savings of the season with our Spring Deals. New tools help take care of that to-do list as the weather brings sunny cheer. It's also a great time for lawn and garden work outdoors, organizing your home with the perfect storage, and setting up new appliances indoors. Don't forget to upgrade your patio furniture and outdoor power equipment as well. Get everything done when you save during our Spring Deals sale that runs only from 4/23 through 5/10. Shop fast to catch these bargains.

Is it important to replace broken chimney caps?

Make certain your home is ready for springtime weather changes by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. On your house's exterior, examine roof shingles for damage or tears that might let water leak inside. Vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're badly weathered. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to snow and ice storms. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If moisture freezes in the cracks, you could be looking at trouble.

What types of moving boxes do you have?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through an adjacent window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project at The Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Stop by for the Kids Workshop on May 2nd, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a keepsake box! Your little builder can assemble their very own trinket holder — complete with a sliding lid. Remember to leave enough time to decorate your box with stickers!
