Are storage bins part of the Garage Storage Sale?
Get organized this year and enjoy more productivity. Projects are easier when you can find your tools and supplies. The Home Depot Storage Sale runs June 22nd to August 18th online and in-store, and you can save on garage shelving, cabinets, storage bins, and storage systems by your favorite brands. We've got garage storage deals on all the items you'll need for a clean and organized space.
What should I bring to personalize my dorm?
We've got your dorm essentials. Utilize our storage containers or moving boxes to transport your belongings, and be ready for residual dirt with cleaning supplies and disinfecting wipes. Bring a tub of spackle to fill old nail holes and Command adhesive hooks to hang string lights and wall art. Make the room your own with wall decals and area rugs. Power strips and extension cords let you place lamps, mini fridges, and countertop microwaves where you need them. If you didn't get a new backpack yet, we've got those, too. Be prepared to head to college with useful products from your local Home Depot.
How can I prepare my home for summer temperatures?
Be certain your home is equipped for summer temps by repairing faulty parts of your home. On your house's exterior, inspect roof shingles or metal roofs for damage that can let water come in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent excess water from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If moisture gets in the cracks, you might be looking at a problem.
Do you carry wardrobe moving boxes?
Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Do I need a generator?
Enjoy power in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making less noise when they create less power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window or peephole when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
What's the project for the free Kids Workshop?
Head to the Kids Workshop from 9–noon on August 1, 2026. Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this cute pint-sized rocket game. Building this wooden spaceship toy is a great way to sharpen fine motor skills, creativity, and listening abilities. Team up with your little ones to make this fun craft while supplies last. Don't forget to leave some time to watch your rocket climb the ladder into orbit!
