Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have a Memorial Day sale?

The bargains you've been waiting for are here from May 14th through 27th! Shop huge Memorial Day Deals to upgrade every part of your house. We've got savings on storage and organization, tools, outdoor power equipment, and refrigerators, to name a few categories — but there's more! You’ll find unbelievable savings, including up to 40% off select appliances and select online bath items. You can shop the deals at our Memorial Day Sale on The Home Depot mobile app or in person at our store.

What home repairs should I make before spring storms hit?

Be confident your home is ready for springtime weather changes by repairing faulty components of your home. On your house's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that may let water leak inside. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent excess water from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If water gets inside the cracks, you could be looking at a problem.

What varieties of moving boxes do you offer?

Make your move easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, blizzards, severe thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through an adjacent window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

What's the project at the June Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop to encourage future builders and craftspeople! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this goalie game. Constructing a small soccer game is a great way to sharpen fine motor skills, listening abilities, and creativity. This cute kids' project is happening on 6/6/2026, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
