What home repairs should I make before spring storms hit?
Be certain your home is equipped for springtime weather changes by replacing or repairing faulty components of your home. On the outside of your home, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that could let water in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If water gets in the crevices, you might be dealing with damage.
What varieties of moving boxes do you offer?
Make your move easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.
Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?
Restore power in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window or peephole when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.
What's the project at the June Home Depot Kids Workshop?
Head to our Kids Workshop from 9–noon on 6/6/26. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this sweet pint-sized soccer field. Constructing this tiny soccer game, reminiscent of the full-size tables, is a great way to encourage creativity, fine motor skills, and listening abilities. Team up with your little ones to make this quick craft while supplies last. Remember to enjoy the fruits of your labor and leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
