Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What Memorial Day Deals does The Home Depot have in 2026?

The bargains you've been waiting for are here from May 14–27! Shop huge Memorial Day Deals to upgrade every part of your house. We've got savings on storage and organization, refrigerators, outdoor power equipment, and tools, to name a few categories — but there's more! You’ll find unbelievable savings, including up to 40% off select appliances and select online bath items. Find deals at our Memorial Day Sale on The Home Depot mobile app or in person at our store.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?

Be confident your home is equipped for springtime weather changes by repairing or replacing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On your house's exterior, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that may let water leak inside. Keep gutters clear of debris to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

What kinds of moving boxes do you have?

Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop in June?

Head to our Kids Workshop to encourage future builders and craftspeople! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this goalie game. Constructing a small soccer game is a great way to hone creativity, fine motor skills, and listening abilities. This fun kids' project is happening on June 6th, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
