Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there a grill sale for Memorial Day?

Get ready to save money when you shop The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale. We've got the major items you want to save on: grills, patio furniture, outdoor power equipment, appliances, and more. Some categories have select items up to 40%, while others offer up to 20% off. It's easy to snag unbelievable deals at our sale that runs May 14th through 27th in person at your local store or with our mobile app.

What home repairs should I make before spring storms hit?

Be confident your home is set for springtime weather changes by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping. On the outside of your house, examine shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that may let water in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent excess water from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If water gets inside the crevices, you might be looking at trouble.

Do you have specialty moving boxes?

Make your move easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What will the next free Kids Workshop be?

Head to the Kids Workshop from 9–12 noon on June 6th. Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this adorable pint-sized soccer field. A simpler and smaller version of the full-size tables, this tiny soccer game is a great way to sharpen creativity, listening abilities, and fine motor skills. Team up with your kids to make this fun craft while supplies last. Remember to leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
