Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have a storage sale?

The Home Depot Storage Sale is here, so start shopping now. From storage bins to tool chests, we've got bargains on what you want for a neatly arranged garage. Shop the sales in-store or online from June 22nd to August 18th, and make this the year you sort out the shed, garage, and basement.

What's on sale for the 4th of July?

Freshen up your appliances now and use them for years to come. Shop our 4th of July Appliance Sale for affordable upgrades on refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, and more. If you're all set with appliances, you can also save on lighting, bath, and tools. It's easy to shop The Home Depot 4th of July Sale, which runs from June 25th through July 8th, on our mobile app or in person at your local store.

What do I do to prepare my home for scorching summer temps?

Make certain your home is equipped for summertime temperatures by replacing or repairing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. If water gets inside the crevices, you might be dealing with damage. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On the exterior of your home, inspect shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that could let water leak in. Keep gutters fully functional to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?

Make your move easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.

Why should I get a generator?

Restore power in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

When is the free Kids Workshop this month?

Drop by our Kids Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on the 4th of July. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this cute pint-sized toy go-kart. Building this small wooden toy with wheels is a great way to hone creativity, listening abilities, and fine motor skills. Team up with your little ones to make this quick craft while supplies last. Remember to leave some time to race your new go-kart toy with others!
