Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have a garage storage sale?

Home Depot Garage Storage Savings are here, so it's time to get shopping. From garage bundles to garage shelving, we've got deals on everything you want for a neatly arranged garage. Shop the sales online or in-store from 6/22/26–8/18/26, and make this the year you finally organize the garage, basement, and shed.

What do I do to prepare my home for scorching summer temps?

Make certain your home is ready for relentless summer heat by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If moisture gets inside the crevices, you might be looking at trouble. On your house's exterior, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that can let water leak inside. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent excess water from backing up into your home. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

What's your selection of moving boxes like?

Make your move easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

What's the project at the Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Head to our Kids Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on 8/1/26. Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this cute pint-sized rocket game. Building this wooden spaceship toy is a great way to encourage fine motor skills, listening abilities, and creativity. Team up with your kids to make this fun craft while supplies last. The best part is launching the rocket, so leave some time to send your rocketship into space!

If you can't cover it then you shouldn't sell it...
I purchased a Artic Air cooler from a Home Depot store, even paid for the ' extra protection plan' in June of 2024. Unfortunately the water deposits in Roswell, NM are really hard and build up fast. The Cooling Cartridge (filter) didn't last through August. I tried to contact the manufacturer and got no response, so I went to the Home Depot I bought it at and asked for help finding one. I was very disappointed in the lack of professionalism and help I received!!! Not only do I not have a filter but I'm left to find one on my own and there was NO remorse from the employee. This is a nation wide chain that advertises 'if you need we've got it ' but in reality they are selling items & Not Honoring them. Not good business tactics if you were to ask me....

My HD credit card account was not working within the HD app. I went to the Roswell store and customer service agent spent a great deal of time helping me with the issue. Her name is Santana

              Credit Card Sucks
I have a $10,000 limit on my credit card ...my owed balance is $87. I guess it had slipped my mind and I forgot to make the $25 payment and my credit card was declined for the $17 item that I tried to purchase. Not that I minded paying for it with my debit card but it was freaking embarrassing to have my card declined for a $17 purchase. I guess all the years of me using that card and paying it off didn't freaking matter if they didn't get their little funky 25 bucks.

                  Countertop experience!
My husband and I can’t share enough of how thrilled we were with the service provided to us by Jericho. He was most professional and treated us with dignity and respect throughout our two experiences with him. We are still in the beginning stages of our project, however, we are confident the foundation we built with Jericho has set the tone for what will be a continuous fabulous journey. We’re excited for our new countertops and look forward to working with him on additional projects in the future.

                    Great employees!
I have a Home Depot in my hometown of Hobbs, NM. However, they did not have the generator that I wanted. With this potentailly nasty storm approaching, I wanted to be prepared if we lost power None of the closest Hone Depot stores in Lubbock, Midland, or Odessa had this generator in stock. So I called Roswell, about 120 miles away. They had one. A very nice young lady named Santana, not to be confused with a gentleman named Santana who also works there, took care of us. She had our generator ready when we arrived a few hours later. She and her associate named Pablo took the time to take it out of the box, add the oil, and the gas which I brought with me, and started the generator up outside in the parking lot before we left for home. I wanted to be sure, of course, before I got home that it would in fact start. Then another employee, a nice lady named Crystal, helped us load it into the back of my pickup. Santana made sure I got their names as well. Thank you one and all!!!
