When you're ready to kick off your next DIY project with confidence, you want the correct tools for the job. In many cases, The Home Depot Tool and Truck Rental Center can help you expand your toolbox and your garage. We're known for high-quality power tool and moving truck rentals.
Tool Rental
Start your next home improvement project with confidence and the right tools for the job. Let The Home Depot Roswell Tool Rental Center fill in the gaps in your toolbox with the tools you don't have at home. You can rent what you need and bring them back when you're done. In fact, if you found the tools so useful that you didn't want to return them, we have used tools available for purchase. Compared to the new items on our store shelves, they're discounted.
Leaf Blowers
Try renting a leaf blower to blow leaves away. Fall will be here in no time, so have a leaf blower ready to go. It's much easier than raking. It's also easier on concrete sidewalks, driveways, and hardscaping surfaces. Clear your yard by using handheld, backpack, or walk-behind leaf blowers.
Air Compressors
When renting pneumatic tools such as nail guns, you'll want an air compressor to provide the power. Renting an air compressor means you save space in your garage while getting the perfect tools for your job. Choose from a gas or electric air compressor in a size that is right for your project.
Heaters
If you don't like working or being outside in the cold, check out our heater rentals. Portable heaters keep outdoor events, barns, or workspaces warm. They are safer than torch patio heaters because portable heaters don't have an open flame, and they also blow the hot air for greater coverage. We offer electric, propane, and gas heaters in various sizes. Couple this with good outdoor lighting and a jacket, and you can extend work or play well into the evening.
Truck and Cargo Van Rentals
To make it easier to transport large tool rentals, we keep cargo vans and trucks ready for rental, with availability varying by store. Choose the right size for your DIY project so you can keep your timeline running smoothly. As your source for DIY projects, storage needs, and packing, it's easy to make us your go-to source for truck rental as well.

How do I rent a tool or a truck?
Stop by your local Rental Center to see what's available. If you'd like to be sure of what's in stock, call first to inquire about a tool or truck. You could also check out our tool and equipment rental or truck rental pages to see if what you need is offered at your favorite store. For more information on renting tools, read these Tool Rental FAQs, including equipment terms and conditions.
How long can I rent tools?
You can rent a tool for four hours or more. It depends on how long you'd like to rent them. Small DIY projects may only require a rental for a few hours, and bigger jobs aren't a problem either. You've got options to rent tools by the day, week, or month, too. If you need it longer than your initial rental period, call the Rental Center to arrange an extension and avoid late fees.
When do I need to return the tools?
You can return the tools early if you finish your project ahead of schedule, but on time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off built-up dirt from the tool as well. If you need them longer, give the rental center a call to see if you can extend your rental period.
Do saw rentals come with saw blades?
Yes, power saw rentals generally come with blades, but we do recommend that you buy your own. You'll likely not get a sharp blade when you rent, as most people won't leave one on there when they return it. However, you may luck out and receive an excellent one. As there's no guarantee, it's better to buy a suitable blade, just in case you need it.
Should I refill the rental truck before I bring it back?
Yes, please fuel up the truck before you return it. Note the original fuel level when you receive the truck, and be sure to fill it with enough gas to match that same level. When you don't refill the truck, you have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.
Can I rent a truck with only a driver's license?
No, you also need to be 21 or older, in addition to holding a valid driver's license. Depending on your state, you may require car insurance, as well as a deposit or credit card hold, too. We don't accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements, so read those if you plan to rent a Penske truck.
