Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have good deals for Father's Day?

Shop now for Father's Day gifts that Dad will love. The Home Depot Father's Day Sale runs June 4th to June 24th in-store or online, and you can save on patio furniture, tool storage, appliances, ladders, and more. You can also get up to 40% off Milwaukee tools. We've got Father's Day deals on all the presents he can't wait to receive.

How can I prep my home for scorching summer temps?

Be certain your home is equipped for summertime temperatures by repairing or replacing faulty components of your home. If water gets in the crevices, you might be looking at trouble. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On your home's exterior, inspect metal roofs or shingles for damage or rust that may let water come in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

What's your selection of moving boxes like?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Enjoy power in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

Which project is featured at the free Kids Workshop?

Stop by for the Kids Workshop on July 4, 2026, from 9–noon or while supplies last. It's time to assemble a wooden go-kart! Your little builder can put together their very own go-kart craft — like the race circuit version but kid-sized. Don't forget to leave some time to race your new go-kart toy!
