Nice piece but the outlet doesn't have any screws on it for the wires, it only has push in connectors on the back and they are not big enough for standard #12 wire so you have to use #14 wire or use a different outlet.

Although not fully installed I bought this for a ceiling mounted projector in our theater. The function of the provided outlet is positive, general assembly appears good quality, and will be easy to install in drywall once it is hung.

I do not care for the new design, it makes it more difficult to feed wires (HDMI) into after it’s installed. The outlet that comes with the kit is worthless, the push in connections do not work. I wish they would go back to the old design and include a outlet with both the push in connectors and screw lug connectors.

This was the perfect solution for hiding all the wires...
This was the perfect solution for hiding all the wires behind our new 75”’ tv. I was able to pull power out of an existing box and feed this unit and run gray conduit for HDMI and CAT 6 which allows to change out the wires if they go bad.

I would actually not buy this again. I didn’t read that the outlet provided with this unit was a push in style only and that it was for 14 gauge wire. I had already ran 12 gauge wire. I bought another decora style outlet, but it didn’t match up flush. Also, the cut out is large. I would rather have a one gang cut in for an outlet and a separate one gang cut in with a brush plate for my video cables.
