How can I prepare my home for summer?
Make certain your home is ready for summertime temps by repairing or replacing faulty components of your hardscaping. If water gets inside the crevices, you could be dealing with mold. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On the exterior of your home, examine shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that may let water leak in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent excess water from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.
What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?
Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, blizzards, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, don't forget that inverter generators are more expensive than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
What benefits do doorbell cameras have?
Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
