Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have a storage sale?

Explore our Garage Storage Savings and finally organize the shed or garage. Save up to 15% off select garage tool storage solutions from your favorite brands and 20% off select storage solutions. Elevate the room with sturdy garage cabinets and other storage and organization options. Use storage bins to group your belongings, then arrange them on new garage shelving systems. Catch these deals online and in-store from 6/22–8/18.

When is The Home Depot Independence Day Sale?

If you're looking to replace major kitchen appliances, The Home Depot 4th of July Sale is a perfect time to shop. It runs from June 25–July 8. We have fantastic sales on refrigerators and dishwashers, as well as tools, outdoor power equipment, and up to 25% off select grills, too. Enjoy better living indoors when you shop for air conditioning, lighting, smart home accessories, storage, and more. Shop online at your convenience, or stop by the store today.

How can I prepare my home for summer temps?

Be certain your home is ready for relentless summer weather by replacing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If water gets in the crevices, you might be in for a headache. On your home's exterior, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that can let water in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

Do you carry small moving boxes?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, blizzards, severe thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, remember that inverter generators are more expensive than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

Team up with your little ones to make this fun craft while supplies last. Remember to enjoy the fruits of your labor and leave some time to play with others!
