What home repairs should I make before spring storms hit?
Be confident your home is set for spring temperature swings by repairing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. On your house's exterior, inspect shingles for damage or tears that might let water seep in. Vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to ice storms and snow. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If moisture freezes in the cracks, you could be in for a headache.
Do you carry wardrobe moving boxes?
Make storage or moving easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.
Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?
Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making less noise when they create less power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.
