Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When are Spring Deals running?

Find some of the best savings of the season with our Spring Deals. New tools help take care of that DIY list as the weather brings cheerful sunshine. It's also a great time for setting up appliances indoors, doing lawn and garden work outdoors, and organizing your home with new storage. Remember to upgrade your outdoor power equipment and patio furniture as well. Get everything done when you save during our Spring Deals sale, running only from 4/23 through 5/10. Shop fast to catch these bargains.

What do I do to prepare my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Make certain your home is equipped for spring temperature swings by replacing faulty components of your home. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If water freezes inside the cracks, you could be looking at trouble. On the outside of your house, examine shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that may let water seep in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to winter storms. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

What varieties of moving boxes do you offer?

Make your move easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, blizzards, severe thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, keep in mind that inverter generators are pricier than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

What's the project at the May Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Head to our Kids Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on 5/2/26. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this adorable keepsake box that fits all sorts of treasures. Constructing this kid-sized trinket holder is a great way to encourage listening abilities, fine motor skills, and creativity. Team up with your little one to make this fun craft while supplies last. Remember to leave plenty of time to decorate your box with stickers!
