Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What Father's Day Deals do you have in 2026?

Shop now for Father's Day gifts that your dad will love. The Home Depot Father's Day Sale runs June 4–24 in-store or online, and you can save on outdoor power equipment, smart home gifts, grills, tools, and more. We've got Father's Day deals on all the presents he can't wait to receive.

How can I prepare my home for summer temps?

Be certain your home is ready for summertime temperatures by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your home. If moisture gets inside the crevices, you could be in for a headache. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On the outside of your home, examine metal roofs or shingles for rust or damage that might let water leak in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

Do you carry large moving boxes?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, blizzards, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project at the July Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Stop by the Kids Workshop to encourage future builders and craftspeople! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this go-kart toy. Constructing a kid-sized wooden toy with wheels is a great way to hone fine motor skills, listening abilities, and creativity. This cute kids' project is happening on Independence Day, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
