Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When is The Home Depot Father's Day Sale?

This June, find Father's Day gifts that fit his interests. Check out the savings at The Home Depot Father's Day Sale, and get amazing deals on everything from smart home gifts and ladders to garage storage and appliances. You can even save up to $100 on select grills. These bargains run in-store and online from June 4th through June 24th only, so don't miss them.

What do I do to prepare my home for scorching summer temps?

Make certain your home is equipped for summertime temps by replacing or repairing faulty components of your hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. On the outside of your home, examine shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that may let water in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

Do you carry wardrobe moving boxes?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.

Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's this month's project for the free Kids Workshop?

Drop by our Kids Workshop on July 4th, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a pint-sized wooden go-kart! Your little builder can assemble their very own go-kart craft — like the racetrack version but kid-sized. The best part is playing with your go-kart, so leave some time to race others!
