Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

How long is The Home Depot Father's Day Sale?

The Home Depot Father's Day Sale is coming up, so start shopping now for Father's Day gifts that your dad will love. From traditional gifts like tools, grills, and outdoor power equipment, to practical gifts like ladders, generators, and garage storage, we've got Father's Day deals on all the presents he can't wait to receive. Shop the sales online or in-store from June 4th through June 24th, and make Dad proud of the bargains you found.

How can I prepare my home for summer?

Make certain your home is equipped for summer temperatures by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. On your home's exterior, examine shingles or metal roofs for damage that may let water leak inside. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

What kinds of moving boxes do you have?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Restore power in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

When is the Home Depot Kids Workshop in July?

Drop by our Kids Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on the Fourth of July. Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this cute pint-sized go-kart. Building this small wooden toy with wheels is a great way to hone fine motor skills, creativity, and listening abilities. Team up with your little ones to make this fun craft while supplies last.
