Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there a tool sale for Father's Day?

This June, find Father's Day gifts that fit his interests. Check out the savings at The Home Depot Father's Day Sale, and find great deals on everything from smart home gifts and outdoor power equipment to tools and appliances. You can even save up to $100 on select grills. These bargains run in-store and online from June 4–24 only, so shop fast.

How can I prepare my home for summer temperatures?

Be confident your home is equipped for relentless summer weather by replacing faulty components of your hardscaping. On your house's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that may let water come in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If moisture gets inside the cracks, you could be looking at trouble.

Do you carry moving boxes?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or tornados, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.

What benefits do doorbell cameras have?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
