What college dorm essentials should I get?
Come see us for your college dorm essentials. Use moving boxes or storage containers to transport your belongings, and be ready with cleaning supplies and disinfecting wipes. Bring spackling to fill old nail holes and Command adhesive hooks to hang string lights and wall art. Make the room your own with area rugs and wall decals. Power strips and extension cords let you place lamps, microwaves, and mini refrigerators where you need them. If you didn't get a new backpack yet, we've got those, too. Be prepared to head back to college with useful products from your local Home Depot.
What home repairs should I make before summer storms hit?
Be confident your home is set for relentless summer heat by replacing or repairing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. If moisture gets in the cracks, you might be dealing with damage. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On your home's exterior, examine metal roofing or roof shingles for damage or rust that may let water in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.
Do you carry moving boxes?
Make your move easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.
Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.
Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
What's the project for the free Kids Workshop?
Head to our Kids Workshop to encourage future builders! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this rocket game. Constructing a small wooden spaceship is a great way to sharpen creativity, fine motor skills, and listening abilities. This fun kids' project is happening on August 1st, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
