How do I fix a drafty door?
If you have cold air seeping in under the door, fix it to keep your house warm while preventing your heating bills from skyrocketing. When a house settles unevenly, pieces that once fit snugly can go off-kilter. Gaps can form around the sides of doors or the thresholds may loosen with time. Fill the space with weather stripping or foam tape, and caulk any cracks in the wooden door frame. If you're still feeling drafts around the door, place an insulated fabric door snake along the ground.
When can I use my Blackstone griddle or grill again?
Cold weather puts a damper on outdoor grilling and dining. When spring has sprung, bring out your trusty grill to warm things up even more. Enjoy a spring evening out on the patio, grilling vegetables, stone fruit, meat, or even pizza. A Blackstone griddle makes it easy to flip and char your food just right. Blackstone flat top grills work whenever you need to grill a savory and delicious meal.
How can chainsaws help with tree and yard cleanup?
Use chainsaws to remove dead or broken branches from trees. It'll give new growth room to flourish. Oil up your Homelite chainsaw before using it, and swap out any dull or rusted chains. Unless you're a trained arborist, please leave large tree removal to the pros. Fallen trees can be cut up and removed.
Does my local Home Depot still offer Kids Workshops?
Kids Workshops are free in-store events that take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am–noon. You may reserve your Kids Workshop kit by registering online for the event. Each month features a unique and exciting new kit pack to keep little doers engaged. Kits include all necessary craft materials, kit instructions, certificate of achievement, stickers, an apron pin, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Any required tools, such as paint, are provided at the workshop. Customers who prefer not to participate in the in-person event can pick up their free kit in-store or order online at our Kids Projects Activities page to have it shipped to their home. Call us or visit our customer service counter to order your kit.
How do I check my Home Depot gift card balance?

Purchase gift cards at our brick-and-mortar stores or online at homedepot.com. If you're a recipient, you can visit the Albany, OR Home Depot and ask a cashier to check the balance for you or check your gift card balance online. If you don’t get the answer you want ask someone else.
Like many places there are great employees and crummy employees. If you don’t get the answer you’re looking for go find another associate to help you out. It’s frustrating when don’t have a lot of time.

        Appliance Specialist Nicole is awesome!
I recently had the pleasure of working with Nicole in the appliance department at the Albany, Oregon Home Depot store. If you have the chance to work with her, I would highly recommend it. She’s knowledgeable about the appliances (dimensions, finishes, etc.) and she’s also very patient. At the time I was placing the order, the website was having issues and there were payment issues as well. She took the time to call credit services and eventually worked with her manager to get me the correct pricing and complete the order. She is a huge asset to that department and the entire Albany store!

Every employee was great on the night shift.
I've never taken a survey or written a review. Late night trip for a project in the morning. Helen hunted the store looking for a tool I needed. Two people said the inventory could possibly be off if it wasn't right there on the end cap. Not Helen she hunted it down found it up in the pallet racking. Bang up employee in my opinion.

            Propane tank exchange
I went in to do a propane tank exchange cashier was nice and after paying for the exchange I waited for over 30 minutes before I had to go to customer service to ask for help because nobody came to help and customer service were just talking while people were in line. Never again doing a propane tank exchange here
              Horrible customer service, nice management
My grandma and I went to this store to purchase a fridge and were denied even the chance to apply her military discount to our purchase. We decided to purchase it anyway and call about it later, so we went and checked out then bought a few other things. The lady at the counter ignored us and went to talk to another employee while my grandma and I just stood at the counter. When she came back she further ignored us and when I asked if we could check out she acted extremely inconvenienced, saying something like "sure" or "I guess". I mentioned my grandma has a hard time walking all the way across the store and back since we parked on that register's side. I asked what their supervisor's name was and if they were there, she told me, acted put out once again for being made to check, and said a quick "nope". I mentioned there weren't any friendly employees in the store today, to which she smiled (uhm, what?). Finished the transaction, left, and called to check about the discount and they said we should've been able to check for one and they rectified the situation, I spoke with someone else about the cashier and they were very professional and agreed the employees should've acted differently. Management was very professional, the floor staff was far less than impressive.
Not happy with most of the service didn’t get
Was not happy with the service I got in appliances
                  Friendly associates
We enjoy shopping at the Albany Home Depot. The associates are always happy to help and very friendly.

                    Skylight special order
The store was great at helping us return a skylight that was too small and order the right sized one with matching flashing kit. Estimated delivery time 2 weeks. It actually came in 4 days later, however no one notified us. 6 days after it came in, we finally got a call from store asking us to pick it up because they needed the room. We were waiting for this order to finish our roof. If we had been notified, we could have finished the roof over the weekend before husband had to go back to work. Extremely disappointed at the lack of communication.
