Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When are Spring Deals available at The Home Depot?

Another huge spring sale is here, so get ready to save money. Whether you're doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools or upgrading your home with new appliances, we've got what you want. Be sure to check out our patio furniture, outdoor power equipment and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from 4/23/26 through 5/10/26 and enjoy your new products all year long.

How can I prep my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Make certain your home is equipped for springtime temperature changes by repairing faulty components of your home. If water gets in the crevices, you could be in for a headache. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On the outside of your home, inspect metal roofs or roof shingles for damage that can let water leak in. Keep gutters fully functional to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

When is the next free Kids Workshop?

Head to our Kids Workshop on May 2nd, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last. It's time to assemble a keepsake box! Your little builder can put together their very own trinket holder — complete with a sliding lid. Remember to leave enough time to decorate your box with stickers!
