How do I cut down on window draftiness?

As the years pass, windows settle and may not fit as snugly as they did before. Check if they're drafty by bringing a steaming cup of coffee to the window. If you can see the steam swirl around the window, the cold air is getting in. Fill obvious spaces around windows with caulk. If your windows aren't snug in the frames anymore, use foam tape, weather stripping, or even a window insulation kit with sealing film to keep out cold air. Replace the windows as soon as possible.

Yes, the Anderson store offers in-person Kids Workshops. These free in-store events take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am–noon. You may reserve your Kids Workshop kit by registering online for the event. Each month features a unique and exciting new kit pack to keep little doers engaged. Kits include all necessary craft materials, kit instructions, certificate of achievement, stickers, an apron pin, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Any required tools, such as paint, are provided at the workshop. Customers who prefer not to participate in the in-person event can pick up their free kit in-store or order online at our Kids Projects Activities page to have it shipped to their home. Call us or visit our customer service counter to order your kit.

Not Friendly to Veterans

I walked in with a cane and through out the store trying to find the lumber I needed. No one asked if they could help me, wearing a Navy Hat and Vets-Helping-Vets T-shirt. Had to load my own cart. No one asked if they could help. At Checkout the cashier never asked if I was a Veteran (I am registered with Home Depot) or wanted my 10% discount. Dirty too!
