Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there an appliance sale for the Spring Deals event?

Another big spring sale is here, so prepare to save. Whether you're doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools or upgrading your home with new appliances, we've got what you need. Remember to check out our mulch, grills and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from 4/23–5/10 and enjoy your new products all year long.

Is patio furniture on sale for Memorial Day?

The bargains you've been waiting for are here from May 14–27! Shop huge Memorial Day Deals to upgrade every part of your house. We've got savings on outdoor power equipment, tools, refrigerators, and storage and organization, to name a few categories — but there's more! You’ll find unbelievable savings, including up to 20% off select online patio furniture and select grills and accessories. Save big by shopping the deals at our Memorial Day Sale on The Home Depot mobile app or in person at our store.

What home repairs should I make before spring storms hit?

Make certain your home is equipped for spring temperature changes by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping. If moisture gets inside the cracks, you could be in for a headache. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On your home's exterior, examine metal roofing or shingles for rust or damage that can let water leak in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent water overflow from going beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?

Make your move easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Why should I get a generator?

Restore power in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole or window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

When is the next free Kids Workshop?

Drop by our Kids Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on June 6, 2026. Sign up for free to build a pint-sized soccer game. We provide the materials and you provide the creativity. Team up with your kids to make this quick craft while supplies last. Don't forget to leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
