Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's part of The Home Depot Spring Deals sale?

The Home Depot Spring Deals sale is here to help you save even more. Save big on lawn and garden, including grills, as well as outdoor power equipment. That way, you'll be prepared to enjoy the greenery and beauty this season. You can also get a jump on DIY projects and spring cleaning by taking advantage of low prices on tools and storage. Don't forget to embrace energy-efficient living with brand-new appliances, too. These special Spring Deals run from April 23rd through May 10th, so don't miss it.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?

Make certain your home is equipped for wild temperature swings by replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. If moisture gets in the crevices, you might be dealing with damage. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On the outside of your home, inspect metal roofs or roof shingles for damage or rust that could let water come in. Keep gutters fully functional to keep rain overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or tornados, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

When is the next free Kids Workshop?

Stop by for the Kids Workshop on May 2nd, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last. It's time to assemble a keepsake box! Your little builder can put together their very own trinket holder — complete with a sliding lid. Remember to leave enough time to decorate your box with stickers!
