Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have a spring sale?

Another great spring sale is here, so prepare to save. Whether you're doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools or upgrading your home with new appliances, we've got what you're looking for. Remember to check out our mulch, outdoor power equipment and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from April 23rd through May 10th and enjoy your new products all year long.

What home repairs should I make before spring storms hit?

Be confident your home is set for wild temperature swings by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home. On the exterior of your home, inspect shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that may let water leak inside. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to snow and ice storms. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If water freezes inside the cracks, you might be looking at a problem.

Do you have specialty moving boxes?

Make your move easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Restore power in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

What benefits do doorbell cameras have?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

When is the May Kids Workshop?

Stop by for the Kids Workshop on May 2nd, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last. It's time to assemble a keepsake box! Your little builder can put together their very own trinket holder — complete with a sliding lid. The best part is decorating this unique box with stickers, so leave some time to place them just right.
