Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting plastic plant pots, CFLs, lead acid batteries, and rechargeable batteries for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used in composite decking, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
Since 2010, we have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our associates and customers. This commitment extends beyond our stores to our communities, as well as the environment. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Read more about our eco actions.

What Christmas decorations do you have?
We carry a wide variety of both indoor and outdoor Christmas decorations. Make your yard stand out with Christmas animatronics and inflatables. Decorate everywhere with Christmas lights, wreaths, and other greenery. We also carry stunning indoor Christmas decor, which includes both real and artificial Christmas trees, string lights, and Christmas ornaments. Shop our festive aisles in person, online, or on our mobile app.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window or peephole when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, which is useful to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. You can even show your holiday spirit if your doorbell cam offers seasonal chimes. Get one this December and appreciate it all year-round.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Having a generator means you're prepared for any circumstances life throws at you. Whether you're dealing with strong winds, blizzards, or thunderstorms, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements knock it out. When searching generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows.
Why should I repair my roof before the cold sets in?
Ready your home for colder weather by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. If water freezes in the crevices, you could be in for a real headache. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and verify indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On the outside of your home, examine roofing shingles or metal roof panels for damage or rust that could let water in. Gutters should be clear and functional to prevent ice dams. Lastly, swap chimney caps and vinyl siding if they're damaged.
What are some storage options for a crowded holiday home?
As you prepare for the holidays, make extra space with storage solutions. Garage cabinets keep tools, decorations, and more out of the way. Moving blankets shield fragile items as they're packed together. Shoe storage and other storage containers take summer belongings out of the equation. If you need even more room, a new shed can give you plenty of it.
