Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's part of The Home Depot Spring Deals event?

Another great spring sale is here, so get ready to save money. Whether you're doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools or upgrading your home with new appliances, we've got what you need. Be sure to check out our patio furniture, outdoor power equipment and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from April 23rd through May 10th and enjoy your new products all year long.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?

Be confident your home is set for spring temperature shifts by replacing or repairing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. On your home's exterior, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that may let water leak inside. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to winter storms. Also, check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If water freezes inside the crevices, you might be looking at a problem.

What types of moving boxes do you have?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window or peephole when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

When is the May Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Stop by for the Kids Workshop on May 2nd, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a keepsake box! Your little builder can assemble their very own trinket holder — complete with a sliding lid. Remember to leave plenty of time to decorate your box with stickers!
