What's on sale for Spring Black Friday 2026?
The Home Depot Spring Black Friday Sale is back and better than ever. Save big on lawn and garden as well as outdoor power equipment, then update your patio furniture and grill so you're ready to enjoy the season. You can also get a jump on spring cleaning and DIY projects by taking advantage of low prices on tools. Don't forget to embrace energy-efficient living with new appliances, too. This spring sale runs from April 9th through 22nd, so shop fast.
What home repairs should I make before spring storms hit?
Be confident your home is ready for spring temperature changes by repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping. On the outside of your house, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that can let water leak inside. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms. Also, check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If water freezes inside the crevices, you might be looking at a problem.
What types of moving boxes do you have?
Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, hurricanes, severe thunderstorms, or blizzards, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window or peephole when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
