The Carmel Mountain Ranch store is my go-to source for everything I need for home improvements. Employees are always helpful and available. I can usually always find whatever I am looking for, as the store is well organized.

Gargi in the returns department helped me and was, as usual, friendly and extremely competent

This location has a woman named "Maria" who is so unprofessional! I have traveled from R ancho Bernardo to my old neighborhood Home Depot on Sports Arena just to be treated better. Every female I've turned to for any help at the Rancho Bernardo location has a condescending attitude! They either don't want to do their job or they just don't like helping men when approached even with a simple question. "Maria" takes the cake! I went through the Garden Department a couple of months ago, (being new in RB) and she was the checking person there. She didn't have a mask on! So, I had my products in my hands and I asked if she could not handle them while simply using the scanning gun. There were five people in line including me. She said: "That's a bit extreme, don't you think?!" I told her that many, many people have died from Covid-19, and before I could finish that I have to be extra careful, she said: " OHHHHH! I love it when people throw numbers around of those who are supposed to have died! There's probably so many more dead and we'll never know! The media lies! They don't tell the truth!" I was so flabbergasted and embarrassed by this political tirade just because I was in need of being cautious in the check out stand. That woman "Maria" continued to put me down as I walked away when she was scanning the couple behind me as if I was some extreme nut. "Maria" has not filter and the management at that RB location allow her to act out worse that a child who just wants to have things her way and only get the attention she craves whether it is positive or not. I have had to endure "Maria" every time I've gone into that location while spending thousands of dollars there over the past three months on my new home. No More!!! I've not only switched stores, I've switched to other big box stores who understand who keeps them in business.... "Me"! If anyone out there is tired of dealing with employees who forgot that the customer experience is what feeds their paycheck.... yes our hard earned dollars.... the speak up!!!! Write a review and complain until we can all see if these problem employees are secretly getting away with be rude to us customers...or if management is actually feeding the problem. In full discloser: Employee Problems Reflect Careless Management, Plain and Simple! Do Something about "Maria" and the other females there in Rancho Bernardo like her!

I was helped by a young man named Roland on Sept. 24, 2020. He helped cut an akwardly small piece of lumber to the size I needed. He went WAY out of his way to do this for me, and had to spend about 10 minutes of hard hand sawing to shape it properly. Plus, he was kind, courteous and had a great attitude. Model employee. A real pleasure to work with.

Store was clean & products were well in stock. One of the cashiers, Rose, is an absolute delight

We accidentally twisted our copper pipe off while trying to remove and old spigot today. It’s Saturday and various plumbers quoted hundreds of dollars and couldn’t come out today. I opened the wall and ended up heading to Home Depot for a pipe cutter and a Shark Bite female connector and double-threaded galvanized pipe. An employee named Kim showed me everything I needed to do the project and even taught me all about the Shark Bite fittings and how they work. He went above and beyond to help me. I’ve never done this kind of plumbing repair and he encouraged me. I’m a woman caring for my elderly parents and I was able to get the water back on tonight. Thank you!

I shop at Home Depot on average three days a week, and I have done so far approximately 12 to 15 years. At no time have I ever been offered a discount for being a frequent customer. You may want to create some type of frequent visitors program, so people like myself can be acknowledged for their loyalty. Thank you.

This is the worse store when it comes to the female employees. They are rude, they don't want to help you and one in particular has no shame talking badly about her co workers/customers right in the earshot of us customers. They don't show any interest in helping you, nor in your customer satisfaction. I have had to ask sever different employees for help when I should be able to ask only one for what I need. I've shopped at Home Depot since 1988. This is the very worse store I've ever experienced under your Brand. I think you should send in a secret shopper and make sure it is a male. See how the women who work there treat him! Send people of color in there and see they get the very worse customer care. I hate this store and will not go back now. Do you know that I've spent thousands at this location in just the past three months for my new home? What a waste!! I've been treated like crap by your people and none of the management gives a crap!! I hope you go out of business!

Went to 0669 to find a thermostat on labor day and the store was busy. The item was in the "cage" at the front and we were having a hard time fining it and was about to give up and my cashier Antonia gave it one more try and found it! Thanks Antonia I can sleep well tonight.

Good place to shop what I need.

I visited the store in order to conduct a product return for a special order item. The customer service staff were friendly, competent, and very helpful in addressing my particular product issue.

Although the Carmel Mountain store is smaller than some other locations, I am always pleasantly surprised with the associate assistance. I have picked up multiple custom orders, and each time the associates did an excellent job of pulling and loading my order.

As a local remodeling contractor during these trying times I appreciate the fast, professional, kind service I get at 0669. I was helped by Sofia with a difficult order and she was able to help me with my order, get me out quickly, and all with a smile under her mask! Thanks Sofia!

The cash register prices often are different from the prices advertised on their signage. Consumer beware!

Outstanding service in the paint department by Phil who gave me great moral support and excellent pointers for moving ahead from a prior botched paint job.

This store have check out machines that has malfunction for some time and done nothing about it. Checking out my card failed three times, including swiping it. I had to use a second card to check out, only to find that my account had been debited for the other three attempts. Now I must waste time and effort to be refunded for items paid by another bank. In spite of this, I still recommend shipping at home depot., as there a few other choices. Unfortunately, home depot does not correct problems when they exist. I wish they would fix this one.

One of the worst Home Depots on the planet! Always out of a substantial amount of inventory, dirty cluttered aisles making navigation difficult, never enough staff on hand to answer questions or locate products that they should have (and frequently don't), and a staff that really needs a long lecture in how to treat customers - most are good but at every visit I find one who seems to think I'm their child or ex-spouse - and they treat you with that contempt. This store is grossly badly managed and has been for at least 15 years. Managers could care less about inputs from customers and simply provide lip service when responding. Nothing changes, nothing improves.

This store just has it's charm! You know what I mean? Some stores belonging to the same chain always seem to do better than others. THIS is one of them. Always friendly staff, very conveniently located, always has everything I am looking for, love the garden section. It's like a family Home Depot.

I was impressed with the amount of staff present. Very willing to assist me with my landscape purchases. Patty was the 'resident expert' and I very much appreciated her expertise and patience. Male cashier was very personable and cheerful and another gem, Michael helped me load my plants so they wouldn't tip over. Overall...a very pleasant and productive visit.

Ronald and Lenny went above and beyond assisting me. As a woman in a home improvement store, I left feeling empowered about my home project!

Cashier Gargi 00027 was very nice and friendly and very efficient, making my shopping experience at this Home Depot a joy.

I encountered to customer service employees, Gargi and Michelle. They were helpful and even walked me to the product I was asking about.

Never coming back for slow service, not only that I felt like I was ignored by the store associates.

This Home Depot may be by far the best I've encountered for the following reasons: Parking is adequate. There is an ample number of associates to assist customers. I've rarely had to wait in line for returns or check-out. Associates are eager to help.
