Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When are Home Depot Spring Deals available?

Another great spring sale is here, so prepare to save money. Whether you're upgrading your home with new appliances or just doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools, we've got what you're looking for. Remember to check out our patio furniture, outdoor power equipment and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from 4/23–5/10 and enjoy your new products year-round.

What home repairs should I make before spring storms hit?

Be certain your home is set for springtime temperature changes by replacing or repairing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that can let water in. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to ice storms. Also, check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If water freezes in the crevices, you might be looking at a problem.

Do you carry large moving boxes?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, hurricanes, severe thunderstorms, or blizzards, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, remember that inverter generators are more expensive than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop in May?

Head to our Kids Workshop to encourage future builders and craftspeople! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this keepsake box. Constructing a trinket box with a sliding lid is a great way to exercise listening abilities, creativity, and fine motor skills. This fun kids' project is happening on May 2nd, 2026, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
