Parked in front of main entrance, great spot. I wanted to pick up a new Echo Speed loader head for my trimmer and new trimmer line. Also to look at a new one gallon gas can. Walked in with my wife. Second row on the end I could see the new heads and trimmer. Picked up one of each. Went to look at gas cans on that row, no one gallon on shelf. Walked around to Row 1 on other side, there were some 1 gallon cans. Too much, I went on with my two selections. They changed things! By the entrance I entered the store they had moved returns/exchange/customer service inside a roped off area. The sign to ENTER that area from the store was marked EXIT. To enter the roped off area one must enter the roped off area from the entry area. I was told to checkout I must go to the OTHER END of the store! As I looked that way, they allowed a fellow in a wheelchair to enter at the EXIT sign and get checked out. Another fellow older than I (I am 65), was standing in line with a product. But he could have entered earlier with an exchange. So wife and I walked to the other end. I was told I could use self-checker, but I had a credit from another purchase, I was not sure it would take it. Thought I will just go a little farther and go through a checker. Nope! Three guys in maroon shirts were engaged in a conversation with the checker. No product, no purchase. The checker informed me this was the Pro checker, I should try the self checker or a checker past them. I asked, “you mean the station past the double doors, the very last checker?” Yes sir she said. I expressed my displeasure to my wife saying “this is ridiculous. We have to walk the entire length of the store to checkout two items we picked up at the entrance, where we parked, and then walk all the way BACK!” One of the fellows thought my comment was meant to be funny, he smiled. I walked past a young employee that from the beginning of my expedition from the entrance area to the far end stood watching the two checkers on the far end. Not sure what her purpose was. We made our purchase. The checker handled the credit and told me the difference. She was courteous. I asked her if I could have paid for these items somewhere other than self checkout and her station? She said no. I said that is crazy, now I have to walk all the way back to my car at the entrance.” She said, “Yes it is”.

Excellent prices and customer services!

Store is always very clean and neat. They try to carry whatever customer needs from garden to lumber to appliances for the home. I needed to return something and had thrown away my receipt. The gentleman helping me was very nice and asked if I had the card I used to purchase the item with. I gave it to him and it was brought up on the computer screen. Then we went through the return process. The young man was very good at his job, personable, and knowledgeable. I also talked to an employee who was in the parking lot bringing in a riding scooter provided for people with disabilities and health needs as I was walking to the store from the parking lot. He was very nice.

Poor customer contact skills

One thing that I noticed on several visits to the garden center was wilted vegetable plants in need of water in the outside displays. Didn't purchase a couple of vegetable plants I intended to because of the wilted look. Other than that all was good.

Amazing staff at this store. All the employees are eager to help.

It was refreshing to see knowledgeable employees in the appliance section, unlike my experience with their competitor. Bob in appliances was a pleasure to work with: he was very familiar with the products, he educated me on warranties, provided tips throughout our conversation, and was just a very nice gentleman. And I got a great deal on my fridge!

Great Store and Great service people. Had all the products I needed. the store was clean. they kept the clean an put up ramps for safety products they were stocking.

Products listed as in stock not in store...poor inventory control I've repeatedly been accorded EXTREMELY poor Customer Service.. (Most are part-time Texas A&M students who treat their job as an opportunity to kick back and do NOTHING....) I would never, and I mean NEVER recommend this store to anyone, period...

Always a great experience coming to this store ..everyone is very knowledgeable and friendly..store is always organized and items are easy to find..also the fact that you guys have many many tools for DYI projects is awesome! Always end up buying things that are on sale ..big thumbs up!!
