How can I fix drafty windows?

As the years pass, windows settle and may not fit as snugly as they did before. Check if they're drafty by bringing stick of incense to the window. If you can see the smoke swirl around the window, the cold air is getting in. Fill obvious spaces around windows with caulk. If your windows aren't snug in the frames anymore, use foam tape, weather stripping, or even a window insulation kit with sealing film to keep out cold air. Replace the windows as soon as possible.

Get out the cleaning supplies and cleaning tools, then give everything a good scrub.

How do I prepare for snow and freezing temperatures?

When you live in a region where snow falls, it's a good idea to organize or upgrade your snow removal equipment before a winter storm hits. Check that the snow blower is working and accessible, then oil up the snow shovels. Remember to get out the sleds for the kids, and prep salt or ice melt and a salt spreader. Our free Kids Workshops take place in-store every first Saturday of the month between 9am and noon. You may reserve your Kids Workshop kit by registering online for the event. Each month features a unique and exciting new kit pack to keep little doers engaged. Included in the kits are all necessary craft materials, as well as instructions, stickers, an apron pin, a certificate of achievement, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Paint and all other required tools are provided at the event. Kits may be ordered online at our Kids Projects Activities page or picked up in-store if you prefer to participate in the workshop from home. Mike from plumbing is the man !

I’m going to start off by saying I never write reviews but I feel like I have to ! I went to the store to build a target stand for the range out of pvc pipe, I’m not a handyman at all. Mike from plumbing spotted me out looking confused and asked what I needed help with, I told him I wanted to build a stand but didn’t know what to use or how big it should be. Mike started sketching on a piece of cardboard exactly what I was explaining to him. He then went and gathered the parts and cut/built my stand for me in the middle of the isle! Most friendliest encounter I’ve had at Home Depot! Any other person would have told me to use this or that and would’ve went on their way but not Mike ! Even tried to give him a 20 and he wouldn't take it. Thanks Mike !!!

Sub par service

Woman sitting behind the counter gave me the dirtiest look and didn’t say hello when I approached her for help. She completely ignored me standing in front of her while she was sitting at a register and played on her phone. Someone else offered to assist me, and a minute later, the rude associate greeted a dog that walked in with a customer behind me.

Great company but store has went to shambles fast

This store use to be amazing. It had great managers. One of the best managers I’ve met in this location is John Clark and he has since stepped down. You can find him in the doors section now and is the best in the store as far as knowledge and people. The other workers are lazy and could care less about your needs. Go see John. Avoid the managers like the plague as they treat the associates like prisoners and the customers like thieves.

Very few left in the world

You have a manager by the name of John there that is literally the heart of this store. It’s sad to see how busy he is all of the time as I feel bad asking for his help, but he is the only one fully knowledgeable about this location. If anyone knows anyone else please let me know!
