Great Service All Round
Working on a second home in Wilton Manors and could not be more impressed with the friendliness and service at the local Home Depot. Bravo to Maria for making my daunting paint experience enjoyable and the recommendations for the Metallic paint choice.

unknowledgeable cashier, Bad products delivered, not delivered together
I bought 40 bags of mulch and 2, 4' x 8' Prebuilt privacy wood fence sections. They were to be delivered together. I took a day off of work. The fence showed up on Friday, I was told the mulch would not come until Saturday. Sometime between 6 AM and 8 PM. The fence was not nailed properly, boards completely miss. Nails not even hammered in. Top runner built with end of the tree scrub section. Instead of facing the missing part down they put it facing up so it will collect debris and rain and rot faster. The pallet of mulch arrived the next day and the man with only a hand skid mover and could not get it on the sidewalk, I had to move the mulch off the road by hand.

Eric in Appliances is the Best
Eric has helped me in the past, and this time was no exception. He quickly identified the refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher that I wanted to see. He told me the pros and cons of each one- and made certain that everything was what I needed. Quick and efficient- Eric is the reason I keep going to Home Depot Fort Lauderdale.

VERY HELPFUL!
Went to Fort Lauderdale store for 20 keys as my office had changed locks. I am terrible with anything technical or mechanical and had three employees help me in one way or another to get the keys made. It took some time as there were so many, and they also chatted with me while they worked so waiting was not bad either. I never have a bad experience in that store!

Recently I bought a minsplit Air Conditioning Unit online with Home Depot. After I installed it there was a problem with the indoor section leaking refrigerant. The manufacturer, Hessaire, was not helpful at all. They did not reply to my warranty claim,and kept me on chatbot hold for an hour and never picked up. I went to the store for help since I didn't know what else to do and the customer service team and store manager resolved my issue completely.

Came in for one item, (brought packaging too), told “don’t sell it anymore”, no further help.
Below are notes from the last time I bought from HD. Had to rebuy something (Liquid AC Line mold prevention, 8oz bottle brought with me). Showed to female at front desk, she said they don’t sell it anymore. No other suggestions, no other comments given or received. Reminded me of this bs from 2021 and why I try never to go to HD.

Jan at HD re removal of old appliances as driver said could not get old microwave out, too much work, screwed into cabinets. Will refund 25.0
Donna at HD no one answered call. Told me to call back tomorrow.
05.12.21 Called FLL Store Nikki Asst Store Mgr. She said if I signed for it, I owned it. Nothing she could do. Asked if I bought at store. No, online. They do not explain it well online. I should have bought it in the store where someone would have explained that to me. (My fault?).
She kept interrupting me” I’m sorry sir. Unfortunately...”. 3X, had to speak over her the 4 th time and I asked her to please stop interrupting me while I was speaking. Used her “I’m sorry, ma’am. Unfortunately, I don’t work at HD. I’m sorry ma’am. Unfortunately in store/online differences are not known to me.”

FETCH Program. Store IS enrolled in the HD Fetch Program. Where customers are allowed to return within 48 hours of delivery for any reason.
TOTALLY SEPARATE FROM 15% restocking fee, MGR. Whim decision program. Said even though I bought online, the sale was credited to the closest store to delivery address and a return would go against their sales #.
Ed advised I Call store and ask to speak to the COS.
An associate from the store will call me within 48 hours to pick up and refund for this oven. 8004553869 Major Appliance Line.

6372 cannot leave message, mailbox full. Operator unavailable, call ended.
Called back, asked for Asst Store Mgr, Quinesha, she walked phone back to COS. On hold 7 mins, Antoinette, she said Ed’s note stated I wanted to return. This had to be approved by store manager. Antonette to speak to Asst. Mgr. and she to call me back.
Called Ed back at 800-466-3337 EXT 54268. Not suppose to have calls directed to him, only gave me his Ext as he didn’t have any confirm number upon request.
He said hasn’t heard that that program has been cancelled. Ed put me on hold to double check with his Resolutions Department.
The Resolutions Department confirmed that FETCH Program is still valid. Ed said he loves this program. Ed to check with his supervisor. He will email me if he finds anything new.

Called local store for Tony - Gen Mgr. as no call back yet. On hold 40 minutes. Hung up. Called back at
6:41 pm - call was picked up, no one answered , call ended.
6:43 pm. Called back, rang for 3 minutes. Hung up, called back.
Asked to speak to the COS to recorded male voice. Male came on, asked to speak with the COS again, placed on hold again.
Ritchie came on to state Tony has gone home for the day. This morning I was told he was coming on today at 3:00 pm. It is 6:52 pm now.
Richie put me on hold again to page Malcolm, Asst. Mgr., call was picked up and then hung up on.
Called back at 6:53 pm 1:42 minutes before call was transferred to a ringing phone. Let phone ring for 3:15 minutes. Hung up, called back at 6:56 pm. Let ring for 2 mins, hung up to call Ed in Atlanta.
Called 800-466-3337 the Complaint Line from Website.
#4 for major appliance hotline.
#4 was best choice but it took me to an Electrolux complaint line. Many recorded questions to get through to a person.
Got to a Damon with Electrolux, who is transferring me to a Home Depot Dept complaint department. Direct line = to Electrolux is 1-800-326-1462.
Transferred to: Trey who was able to lookup order.
Placed on hold at 11 mins.
Trey came back at minute 14:20.
Trey can have stove picked up on May 20th. Refund will be done 2-3 days later.
Trey said I may need RGA # which will be available 2-3 days after pickup. Electrolux issues this RGA #. Home Depot May Need RGA NUMBER TO DO REFUND

7.28 pm, called Home Depot to speak with Malcolm.
Rang and rang...no answer...same MO as last night...hung up at 3:25 mins.
Antoinette called 05.13.21 and gave RGA#SS7331908338. Pick up Saturday May 15th. They will call the day before with window time for Saturday. XPO will be coming to pick up.

Key Machine isn’t good
I went to get extra keys made and I am having problems with both of the keys. I am going to go back and see if they need filing down or machine is off? One key got stuck in the lock and the other one won’t even go in it. Customer service was great. But the product is important !

Home Depot needs to fix their in Store Wi-Fi
I haven't been to a Home Depot in quite some time.
One of the reasons I chose Home Depot was for their App to help me find things.
Unfortunately, Home Depot's Wi-Fi was NOT Working and the employee who told me that did it with such disgust, it appears that it has N been working for some time :)
Except for three employees who were quite helpful, the others were too busy to help.
One guy wearing a Home Depot Jacket told me with delight that he is in Home Depot Marketing and does NOT work for the store. To me, he should NOT appear as though he works for the store, and should remove the Home Depot Branding. He did more Damage to the Home Depot Brand with his delightful reply.

Great staff!
We were helped by Martin Nuñez. He ame to us as we were looking through some washers and dryers - didn't have to beg for anyone's help. He was extremely sweet and patient with all our needs. Although it was late, he made sure to provide us a full service and account for all our questions regarding our home remodeling project. We left very satisfied by his customer service.

Poor customer service
I had called ahead to be sure you had the pull down 2 piece kitchen faucet in stock and was told yes .
When I got to the store I talked with 4 employees and not only did they not have it on stock they coukd not find it on the web page . I found it again on the home depo web page after I left but ordered it from Fergusons

There is NEVER enough staff on the floor. Finding a knowledgeable attendant on the floor to hellp a customer is impossible.

Typical unfriendly experience.
Why does Home Depot have to be so unfriendly? Why can't one employee actually provide some information on a product? Why do Home Depot employees seemingly run away when they look at you with a pending question. I don't ever even have the ability to ask a question to a Home Depot employee because if I make eye contact they run the other way. How can the store with literally thousands of products have employees that can't find anything or don't want to help you find anything?

Appliance personnel were awesome.
I bought 4 appliances from this location primarily on the expertise, knowledge and professionalism of the sales associate Gregory. He was stellar. A few issues need to eb resolved and Gregory was able to amend quickly with the assistance of the manager, Haneefa, who was equally professional. She was awesome and the both display their understanding of the value of excellent customer service. I usually complain and seldom write good reviews, This was worth the effort.
