Are Kids Workshops offered at the E Palmdale Home Depot?
Kids Workshops are free in-store events that take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am and noon. Kids Workshop kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. We have a new kit pack every month to keep your little doer engaged. Included in the kits are all necessary craft materials, as well as instructions, stickers, an apron pin, a certificate of achievement, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Any required tools, such as paint, are provided at the workshop. Kits may be ordered online at our Kids Projects Activities page or picked up in-store if you prefer to participate in the workshop from home. Call us or visit our customer service counter to check availability.
How do I check my Home Depot gift card balance?
The Home Depot gift cards are a popular choice during the Holiday season, with givers and doers that can be purchased in-store at our brick-and-mortar stores or online at homedepot.com. If you are a recipient, you can check your gift card balance online or visit your local Home Depot store and ask a cashier to check the balance for you. Our gift cards can be redeemed in-store or used to make purchases online with no additional fees.
What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?
As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we've increased the frequency of cleaning and general hygiene maintenance in stores and other locations. We've also stepped up our efforts to disinfect high-traffic and high-touch areas like self-checkout, door handles, and bathrooms, as well as posting signage about handwashing and other preventative actions.
We're promoting social distancing in our stores and distribution centers, which includes stores limiting the number of customers inside at any given time. In addition to training our associates on social distancing, we've placed distancing markers at some of our checkout counters and are making overhead announcements on our store PA systems asking customers to practice social distancing.

We deliver curbside and you can order online for convenient store pickup daily until 6 p.m. Here's how:

The Home Depot overall
Don't get me wrong I like the Home Depot store, What makes me sad for them is the fact that the overall customer service has all but gone away. If you are lucky enough to find an associate and make eye contact the all to often don't know the answer to your question or it's not there department and they page someone for you they leave you waiting and that someone never shows up.
Please Home Depot bring your first class customer service back to your store!

Just left the East side Palmdale store looking for something that was out of stock. The attendant, located in the garden area cutting Christmas Trees, was very helpful and saw that my needs were attended to. That quality of service is above and beyond. Great service and friendly.

Although we do shop other stores, looking for the best value, selection, etc. we more often than not do end up purchasing at Home Depot. The prices are usually the best, the selection is abundant and the help/staff is readily available and friendly.
