Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's part of The Home Depot Spring Deals event in 2026?

Enjoy some of the best savings of the season with our Spring Deals. New tools help take care of that DIY list as the weather brings sunny cheer. It's also a great time for setting up appliances indoors, doing lawn and garden work outdoors, and organizing your home with new storage. Be sure to upgrade your patio furniture and outdoor power equipment as well. Get everything done when you save during our Spring Deals sale, running from 4/23/26 through 5/10/26. Don't miss out on these bargains.

What home repairs should I make before spring storms hit?

Make certain your home is set for spring temperature swings by replacing faulty parts of your home. On the outside of your house, inspect roof shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that can let water seep in. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to winter weather. Also, check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If water freezes in the crevices, you might be dealing with damage.

Do you carry large moving boxes?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, hurricanes, severe thunderstorms, or blizzards, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through an adjacent window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project at the May Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Head to our Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this keepsake box. Constructing a box with a lid that slides on is a great way to exercise creativity, fine motor skills, and listening abilities. This cute kids' project is happening on 5/2/26, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
