The sales associates knowledge helped me to avoid costly mistakes in ordering and asked pertinent questions in order to understand exactly what my needs were.

Whenever I go into the the East Haven store , I am greeted and welcomed and am asked if there is anything I need assistance with. The store is clean and well organized.

East Haven CT Store : Associates are stretched thin. Only express check out with long lines. No actual cashiers to check people out.. This store management appears to be trying to do more with less and it is showing. I will skip this one in the future and go to Goodies Hardware 3 min away that has more staff and actual people checking you out. This store needs more staff overall.

We had exterior paint from a previous purchase at Home Depot & now needed it for another project which required it to be a different color. The original color was lite grey. It's never easy to turn one color into another. We found ZACK at the paint department & he kept trying to get the color that we wanted, bit by bit. He was in no hurry to get rid of us & he kept at it until he got the paint just the right color that we needed. He also was busy trying to serve other customers. He did an excellent job & never got flustered. We left the store with the exact color we needed thanks to ZACK.

Daniella in the paint department was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Her enthusiasm about our project made us even more excited to get going. She gave great recommendations and tips to make things easier. I highly recommend that you ask for her when looking for paint!

Pleasantly surprised! Just boycott the self checkouts. You are taking a job or two away from a cashier. Waiting 5 to 10 extra minutes can put food on someone's table.

On this visit there were no problems but in my last visit I ordered a storm door and a front door. The associate at the millwork desk went to lunch and did not tell anyone. They were paging him for 30 minutes until a ASM came by. He called an associate to take my order which he did with no problems. At least I thought. He ordered an jam for the door but put the wrong price and it was rejected, he never followed through, when the installer went to pick up my order there was no jam. A new jam was never ordered and we are still waiting. But not for long I will give it another week the cancel the order. Not only that we just received a Home Depot charge card bill on that order for the door which we don,t have.

always a friendly associate there to give a hand. HD always has the products I need. It's always my one stop shop from garden to paint.

Although not everything I was going to shop for was in stock, the overall experience was pleasant. I have been shopping at this location for the past two years and must say that I am almost always pleased with the level of service provided at this location.

I wish more stores and establishments would recognize veterans service.

The store was not very busy but the associates were all readily available and willing to assist even though they were obviously in the closing routine mode!!!

I like the product that I need better than Loews,also price was cheaper ,I like the coupon that i got from Homedepot which motivate me to buy,also staff were very helpfull.

I own my home improvement business and am in this store everyday. The people know me and say hi when I walk in the door. It's a good feeling. They are friendly and helpful. Most of the time checking out is fast (unless very very busy). Only thing I could suggest is having a few more people available to get items that are higher up and require lift picker. Sometimes, and only sometimes, it takes a bit longer than it should to find someone. Great store, great people.

I was very satisfied with the associate in the lumber department.

I had a leaky dishwasher and 40 people coming to my house in 6 hours for a birthday party. Thru pictures and a couple trip back n forth (only a mile) Mike told me how to disconnect the dishwasher and even lent me his tool. He saved me a ton of $$ that could have required a plumber. Only had to purchase 1 tool ( will use for everything in the future) for $9.00. Best part? I did it myself and Mike didn't doubt me:)

We were very satisfied with Linda Rauccio who went out of her way to encourage us to purchase our kitchen cabinets at Home Depot and who sold us our appliance with lots of information such as having a recessed handle on our dishwasher that would be on an island so that it would not intrude within the space. She made many helpful hints about the gas stove we finally choose as well as our refrigerator. We really respect this professionalism.

I visit this store regularly. Although there are other home depot stores nearby, this has become my favorite. The selection is great, the stores clean, there is ample parking, and the employees are very courteous and friendly.
