Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When are Spring Deals running?

Another huge spring sale is here, so prepare to save money. Whether you're upgrading your home with new appliances or just doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools, we've got what you need. Don't forget to check out our patio furniture, outdoor power equipment and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from 4/23/26 through 5/10/26 and enjoy your new products all year long.

How can I prep my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Be certain your home is set for spring temperature swings by repairing or replacing faulty components of your home. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If water freezes inside the crevices, you might be dealing with damage. On the outside of your house, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that could let water seep in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to winter storms. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

Do you carry wardrobe moving boxes?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Why should I get a generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop in May?

Head to the Kids Workshop on May 2nd, from 9–noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a keepsake box! Your little builder can assemble their very own trinket holder — complete with a sliding lid. The best part is decorating this unique box with stickers, so leave some time to place them just right.

Does the Hamden Home Depot offer Curbside Pickup?

Yes, you can pick up Curbside Orders from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with The Home Depot app. Select "Curbside with The Home Depot App" at checkout when you shop eligible Store Pickup items.
