I will be brief as I am tired, like probably everyone else, of the fluff and false advertising across the commerce industry. Home depot and it's employees are always there to help and solve problems. I have shopped here for decades and never a poor attitude once from anyone. People genuinely want to provide good service and while I am not the type that requires a lot of help, any time I do have out of the ordinary questions, they see to it that I get my answers and we move forward toward my current project needs and objectives. On the rarest of occasion when an item was in inventory but not yet on the shelves, I had arranged to return the following morning but got a call later in the day and they said they were having a delivery person drop the item by from another store, free of charge! That NEVER happens with other stores. I will always return to my El Cajon Home Depot as I feel like a huge family is there to help me with my projects and my spending experiences!!!

JW flooring did an amazing job on our installation. Job was done quickly and on time.

We purchsed a washer dry and it was set up for delivery 3 days later. the truck showed up an hour early at 8:30 am and was supposed to call ahead, but called on arrival when we were not home as we were told the window of delivery would be between 9:30am - 1:30pm on 11-20-2025 with a 1 hour call ahead. We rushed home to meet the driver at 9:15am and they had already left to go to the next stop . the driver could not be contacted nor the dispatch... still dont have our washer and dryer

I patronize this store quite often. The customer experience has always been pleasant and positive. Recently purchased a French door refrigerator, and Scott and Faith from the appliance dept were a pleasure to deal with. Have also had good experiences with the rental and garden departments. I would highly recommend this store.

I usually find what I need and the store associates are always helpful. Plus. it's conveniently close (only 4 blocks away) to my home.

I just wanted to say Toni was very helpful at the pro desk I had an issue with a bad gift card and she helped me threw it. She is amazing and very helpful

The above mentioned HD employees have a combined godzillions years of phenomenal customer service. Truly amazing, excellent listeners dou g their very best and beyond. Thanks guys and gal

Reyna was so very helpful to walk me through renting a van To hall my wood home for a project. She was wonderful to speak with in the phone and she told me she would take care of me when I came in and she did! It was such a wonderful experience that I even hugged her goodbye! She was professional, fast and friendly. Thank you Rayna for all your help. It make my hwhike Home Depot experience even better! Got all my wood home and unpacked and returned the van in an hour!

We are regular customers at the El Cajon Home Depot store. We always receive better care and service than at other hardware and DIY stores. We recently purchased a remodeled kitchen and powder room and could not be happier with the service and pricing we received from Caleb Dekelaita. And I appreciate the military discount I receive on most purchases as well.

I called before I drove all the way to the store hunting for a new washer and dryer. "Esther" answered the phone and had suggestions for me and took the time to listen to my needs and concerns, so when I got to the store I asked for her personally. She was gracious, knowledgeable, helpful, very kind and was able to answer every question that I asked her. If able, I would go back to her time and time again, but I only need one washer and dryer:(

I bought a water heater it took out old one replaced with the one I bought from Home Depot got mi lines and gas line running then at the end the water heater was broken it didn’t want to spark

Every trip I have made to this store has been a great adventure! We recently made a large purchase, washer and dryer and some smaller items. The associate that helped us was very friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us some helpful and important advice on our large purchase. My wife and I had an amazing time. The Associate who helped us is Cocoa! If the rest of your Associates are like her…it is no wonder your organization is a success!

We bought a new refrigerator the young man that helped us was great

The quality of the lumber is the worst. Be prepared to search through stacks to find a few pieces.

Management seems to treat employees like crap. I hear about the poor treatment of subordinates from those who leave to competitors. This is the culture of this store. It would be nice to see the hierarchy flushed (reset) for employee longevity and better customer relations in the future. Competitors love mining employees from this store because self-esteem is so low. Also, sleeping with subordinates is not ethical.

I shop at a few different Home Depot stores but the employees at this store are always available to help if needed.

I am a handyman and whenever I am unsure about a product I am planning to use, the staff are always ready to step in and give good advise. Some of the new and improved things are what I look for as I am old school and the staff always comes through. Great job everyone! Keep up the good spirits.

I like this location not just because it’s close to me but the parking lot is pretty manageable. Multiple in and out locations so it’s never too much hassle to get to. Employees have always been nice. Definitely my go-to location

I needed a 4ft x 8ft sheer of plywood cut into strips. Normally I would just buy the sheet and cut myself with the help of my husband however he just had open heart surgery. So I need 3 sheets of wood cut in 16 inch strips making it more manageable at home. I was told I had to go to the pro desk, pay for it and pickup the next day as a will call. I couldn't pick it up the next day so 2 days after I paid for it, I went to pick it up. It wasn't even cut yet. I had to wait over an hour for my order I was really disappointed when I heard the man who sent me to will call state "i wasn't going to stand there and cut it ".

El Cajon Home Depot is set up to have one door in and another one to exit. Does anyone else find this extremely inconvenient? In an attempt to control theft, they are set up to inconvenience their shoppers. If you are unable to find what you want, so nothing in your hands, you still have to walk to the other end of the store to exit. Also, like to add that it doesn't seem to deter people from using whatever door they chose. Go to Lemon Grove or Santee - plus sales tax is less there.

Everyone is available to help you- never have to hunt anything down- also asked for assistance to find something- employee showed me where it was and when asking where something else was- he went out of his way to ask another employee instead of telling me no we don’t have it- wish I would have got his name 😒

For over four years, you've been sending me information on other people's purchases at this email. Do you think you can get it correctly especially after I talk to her customer service for over a half an hour last week.

We opened the box containing the Jackery solar generator that we bought 4 months ago only after your survey arrived today. Timing couldn’t be more perfect. The solar panels don’t work. I have a call into jackery. It’s possible this unit had previously been bought and returned.
