Very attentive floor employees, self checkout cashier is another story. The floor people went well out of the way to find a product I use on the job everyday. The self checkout cashier was looking at a piece of paper the whole time I was checking out. I asked about veteran discount, showed her my I'd, and she acknowledged it. But after my purchase was processed, no discount applied. I left mad and sour just by her actions against the efforts put forth by the floor personnel. Another thing is the reserved veteran's parking spot was removed.

I love this store. The store has been so helpful to our family. The associates were very helpful in finding the products I requested.

The staff were friendly and helpful, both with projects, products and services the store carries, like tools and garden supplies and then helped with referals about stuff they don't do, like cam locks for water tanks.

I have been to home depot in Anchorage and the service I received there was far better. Good job!

A good portion of the floor employees have an obvious i dont wanna be here attitude they dont seem know much about what they are selling or where it is. The store is often quite messy with stock and special orders taking over the isles making it impossible to enter isles with a regular cart let alone a lumber cart. As a contractor often in a hurry it is very frustrating to not be able to get help from the employees just walking around. The fact that we dont have many options in town and i know where most everything is located in the store, facilitating a quicker trip, is why i still shop here.

Customer service in the store is hit and miss, help out does not exist. This HD provides the least customer service I have seen in the last 10 years.

As far on my visit they have all the stuff i needed so they surely focused on the items if they have or not.

The employees are helpful and friendly. If there isn't a cart ready for you in the lumber isle then they are all being used. The guy that brings the carts back from the parking lot never stops and carts are lined up and ready to go 99% of the time. I have been to Home Depots in five different states and ten different cities and Farbanks store has the best cart management I have ever scene.

The employees at this store go above and beyond when helping their valued customers(me). They spent 43 min on the phone going line by line with me through an order request while maintaining the highest level of patience and professionalism. If I was a store manager at any retail store I would be very proud to have the members that are employed here. Thank you for a great experience.

Just another store go to it if you need to

The store personnel are always friendly and willing to help you in any way that they can. The store is always neat and clean and presented in a professional manner. I wish they gave the military discount on all items ie bags of pellets.

I've never actually had an employee shrug their shoulders at me before when trying to return a defective product. Bought a $370.00 well pump with a 3 yr warranty, took back tonight after 11 months to be told I need to call Mfg. turn box over it says Home Depot. I say it has your name on it they shrug shoulders and say you'll have to call corp in Atlanta? I bought it in Alaska and expected service in alaska? Is that to hard?? Will never buy another well product from this store !

Everyone is friendly and helpful. Customer care is supportive and actually fixes issues and problems a person is having while attempting to purchase high valued items online from another state. Thank you Maureen and Herman for all of the extra effort.

Very happy with the service and product purchased. Salesperson/Michael was professional, extremely helpful and courteous. Checked details, measured and confirmed the refrigerator that would work for my needs. Gave me choices, color, type and price ranges that would work for me. Made a difficult, “need it right now”, purchase a pleasure.

Heather in kitchen cabinets and counters was so knowledgeable and helpful about counter tops! She made the process seamless.

I personally love this store because of it's location and variety. Plus the Employee's alway's make the shopping experience "more better". Maybe we could get another one on Chena Hot Springs Road. Albeit smaller, so the people way out there don't have to drive so far to get the same good experience.

Great store, the only problem is that at times they shut down all the checkout lines except the self check out. The problem with that is when there are a lot of customers in the store it slows everything down having just one person to help with their checkout process. I needed a actual person there to remove the security device off the product I bought. There were roughly about 15 people in line plus the four at each self checkout registers. Needless to say that one person was quite busy trying to help everyone. Plus, I don't get paid to work at Home Depot, so why am I doing the cashier's job?

I appreciate the friendly and respectful staff so much. Right away, I am asked "Is there anything I can help you with?" They proceed to help me find what I am there for. I also love to see all the other options available to me beside the project I'm shopping for.

My husband ordered and paid for 6 tons (pallets) of wood pellets on the 9th of October and was told by the cashier that they'd be delivered on the 12th. When I called to find out when on the 12th they'd be delivered i was told I wasn't scheduled for delivery that day. My husband had called to find out what day they'd be delivered and was told the 21st. On the 21st by 4:30 they still had not been delivered and my husband called to check when they would be delivered. They called back at 5:30 and told us that we wouldn't be getting pellets that day due to a problem they had in Delta. They then tried to reschedule for the 31st. We talked to Michael, an assistant manager, and were told by him that he would get it figured out and call us back with a delivery time. The following day we still hadn't heard back from Michael. We called and were told to try later as no one who could help us was there. My husband called later and was put on hold for about ten minutes before being hung up on. This customer service is atrocious. This is our only source of heat and we have had to go out to the Home Depot to purchase more pellets to last us until they finally do deliver them. We had pre-purchased the pallets in anticipation of winter and had not planned on spending the extra money to buy more of what we should already be well-stocked with. We will be returning to Home Depot tomorrow to get our money back, which we will spend elsewhere to purchase pellets. We won't be patronizing this establishment when we build a house next summer.

I received prompt and accurate service from Dottie and Mike in the carpet department. they offered pricing and a wide variety of products to choose from. they assisted in setting an appointment to have my home measured within less than 5 days!
