Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When are Spring Deals running in 2026?

Another big spring sale is here, so get ready to save. Whether you're doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools or upgrading your home with new appliances, we've got what you need. Remember to check out our mulch, grills and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from April 23rd through May 10th and enjoy your new products all year long.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?

Be confident your home is set for wild temperature swings by repairing faulty components of your home. If water freezes inside the crevices, you might be in for a headache. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On the exterior of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that may let water seep in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms and snow. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

Do you carry wardrobe moving boxes?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

When is the Home Depot Kids Workshop in May?

Stop by our Kids Workshop to encourage future builders! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this keepsake box. Constructing a box with a lid that slides on is a great way to exercise creativity, fine motor skills, and listening abilities. This fun kids' project is happening on 5/2/26, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
