I love this store. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help. Unlike some other big box home centers, they take the time to walk you to the item you are looking for and don't just point in a general direction. The store is well organized and most things are easy to find. For the odd item that can't be located, there is always someone available to help.

Store is well organized, and there is always help available to find things rather than wandering around lost and wasting time. I've heard that other locations do not have the same level of friendly assistance; I go to this store because I know the associates are friendly and helpful.

Excellent customer service!!

A wonderful store. Someone was immediately available to assist us as soon as we walked into the store to look at flooring for our kitchen. We mentioned that we were re-doing it completely and had already spoken to another company who we would probably use to do the rest. Our floor salesperson suggested that we speak with their kitchen designer. After setting up an appointment to get our floor measured, he took us over to Joey, the designer, and he spent about 2 hours going over various things with us. We then set up another appointment with him to have another person come out to measure for cabinets, backsplash, granite, etc., and then he will do a final design based on what we want.

This store is amazing. Super friendly and helpful staff. If you're a woman do not fear going in for anything. Someone will always help you.

For some reason the survey I took said that I would not recommend this store. The fact is I would most definitely recommend this store. Sales people went out of there way to help me and the cashier could not have been any better!! I thank them all so much!!

Since Ed took over the store. The employees are more friendly and helpful. Ed’s motto like mine is the customer pays the salaries of Home Depot employees. So you make sure to take care of the customer. It’s not rocket science. The place is busy and well stocked. All I can say is if you have an issue. See Ed. He will address any issues. Stop in and see for yourself.

This store in particular is very helpful. I spend thousands annually at THD and find this store is the best in NNJ. Always have helpful employees and great product selection.

Overall this is a standard, garden variety Home Depot. Always 80% of the cake mix but never the icing. Purchasing agents should spend time in the store to speak with professionals in the contractors section to take a survey of items that would be helpful in the trades. Something is always missing, common items that should be present. Training of ALL employees in the stations they occupy should be thorough, not just throw someone there and tell them, "today your'e in electrical" when they have not a single clue of what they are doing or looking at. You wouldn't put a hospital porter in a Dr. coat and let them treat patients, right? Granted, the severity of consequence may not be equal but very well could be if you have an inept individual telling a homeowner how to hook up a gas line and they blow up their house and family using their advice.

Have been pleased with the service whether going there or calling for information. The people who helped me explained the information well / detailed and were very friendly.

I use this store often. it always has what I need, and the help is always there.

I love going into this store. Prices are fantastic, customer service is terrific; Ed Flynn should congratulate Vanessa and all staff for their personal qualities. If I couldn’t find something, I got assistance quickly. These folks take you right to what you are looking for. I am a 20 year military veteran and this store gives a 10% military discount. The staff always says “Thank you for your service” and I want to tell Home Depot, “Thank you for your customer service”!

I visited the Hackettstown store on Fri Dec 14, 2018 to return a failed water heater for a warranty claim/replacement!!! Shannon was the wonderful young lady that waited on me in Customer Service and even though she had never processed one of these claims before she did what she needed to do to get the job done in a timely manner!!! Nick was the gentleman that assisted me in the Plumbing Dept with making my decision for my replacement unit and he was also extremely helpful!!! Both of these associates are an ASSET TO THIS STORE and I am THANKFUL TO BOTH of them for the service and assistance I received!!!

Home town feel, great crew at this store.

Being a customer used to matter. It clearly no longer does. Assistance in the store from employees that have knowledge and care has become extinct. The last chain that seemed to care no longer does

Employees were generally very helpful. They gave me the assistance I needed. Had a problem after closing the supervisor was a little abrupt with me.

First time in a long long time that we went to a home center and received knowledgeable and friendly customer service. We have never written a review before but decided to do so after a truly helpful shopping experience.

Store personnel (sales people and Customer Service desk) are patient, friendly, knowledgeable, and kind. The store is clean and organized with prompt assistance available for the asking. We frequently shop different needs at this store (hardware, paint, lumber, tools....) and are generally very pleased with availability of products & services as well as store personnel.
